Will downloading work on my mobile phone?

Not all phones may be compatible and access charges by your carrier may apply. You must have an internet-enabled mobile phone with data services enabled. If you are not certain whether your mobile phone has these capabilities, please contact your wireless carrier.

Is there any other way to get my ringtone?

If you are able to access your phone by USB, the ringtone can be downloaded on the Internet using the link in the text message and copied to your phone.

What carriers are supported?

Currently carriers include AT&T, Alltel, Nextel, SprintPCS, T-Mobile, and Verizon. If you are on a different carrier but know your phone and service is compatible, you may alternatively contact us with your carrier name, phone number, and ringtone choice and we will manually process it (note that this could take up to 24-hours).

What are the steps to download on my mobile phone after I receive a confirmation message?

Most mobile phones will use these download steps:

  1. Go to your Message Inbox and open the text message.
  2. Scroll down the message and highlight the download link in the text message. For some carriers or certain mobile phones, you may need to access the Menu and select the "Go To" option in order to select the link within the message.
  3. Once you’ve selected the link, the download process will start and you'll be prompted to save the content.
  4. When the download is finished, you will receive a confirmation text message that the download was successful.
What should I do when the download arrives on my mobile phone?

After the download is complete, you will be prompted to save it. If you want to use the downloaded ringtone as your default ringtone or set your new wallpaper as your phone background, you'll need to change your personal settings. Many mobile phones will provide the option to 'Store as default', which will immediately set your new download as the default ringtone or wallpaper.

How long should it take for me to receive my download?

It usually takes less than a minute to receive the text message response from MLA Records. However, depending on the amount of traffic on your carrier network, it can take up to several minutes to receive your product. If you are in an area with limited or no wireless reception, you may not receive the text message containing your download instructions until you re-enter an area with wireless reception.

What if my download gets interrupted?

If your download is interrupted or you forget to save the product to your mobile phone, you can re-open the text message and re-download the product.

My download link has arrived, but I can't find it on my cell phone. Where is it?

The download link is in the body of a text message that was sent to your mobile phone. Depending on the brand of your mobile phone or your carrier, this message may be sent to your phone's Message Inbox or other place such as your phone's browser Inbox.

Why can't I download an item after I click on the link you sent me?

First, check the MENU softkeys to see if there is a GOTO or GO TO LINK option as some mobile devices do not allow you to click on a link contained within a text message. If there is no GOTO option available, your mobile phone may be unable to link to a mobile web page from within a text message. If this is the case, you won't be able to download content to your mobile phone. Please check with your wireless carrier or phone manual to see if your device is enabled and how to access web links from within a text message.
